The Multi-Merchant application settings (General - Miscellaneous)

In this article, we will explain the following sections in the settings of the multi-merchant app:

General:



Allow inactive sellers to list products: If the seller is not activated when this button is enabled, the seller will be able to add products.

Disable product after quantity depletes: Disable the product from appearing when its quantity is out of stock.

Allow re-listing disabled products: Sellers will be able to re-list products that have been disabled.

One-page registration: Activate seller registration from one page only.

Admin email for notifications: type in the email address of who should receive the various notification messages. If this field is left blank, the store's primary email will be used.

Choose your payment method: Your payment method (you can choose one only)

Seller validation, Product validation: To choose manual or automatic activation for products and seller registrations, if it's manual, you will need to activate the product or the seller from your end first.

Seller account terms: Sellers will have to agree on these terms when creating a seller account, if you want to create and select a custom page, please go to the following page to create one:

Enable search by city: This option allows users to search for products by seller city

Seller payment methods: If enabled, the sellers will be able to select the available payment methods for the products they list.

Search by seller: When enabled, seller accounts will appear instead of products on the customer search page.

View seller name in cart page: Shows the seller's name on the cart page.

Tag whitelist: Permitted tags in RTE (product engagement metric), if it's empty all tags will be permitted.

Enable Rich Text Editor for descriptions: Activate the rich text editor or modifier in the product and seller description field.

Hide Order Info: Hide the customer's shipping and payment information on the seller's order details page.

Show contact button: Choose the place of the contact seller button.

Show Sellers Totals: Controls the appearance of the total for the seller on its interface.

Action Url: The page you want to convert the customer to when clicking on the seller.

Seller Review: Allow clients to rate sellers.

Address Data: Enable or disable address data.

Mobile Version: Enable or disable the mobile web version for sellers.

Show country, city: Display the seller's country and city to customers.

Allow Seller To Contact Another Seller: If the seller is a customer and seller with the same account, this option allows him to contact other sellers.

Disable Seller Email Sending on products Creation: This option activates or disables sending an email to the store manager when a product is added by a merchant/seller.

Activate Delivery Slots Option To Sellers: Enabling this option will restrict orders to be from one seller only, this option is not recommended if you want your store to have multiple merchants and sellers.




Finally, you can set and change the words of seller, sellers, product, and products in each language enabled on the store. You can add a paragraph or definition to the sellers' page here, and it will be added in all the languages activated on the store as well.







Miscellaneous:

The miscellaneous settings consist of the following parts:

IMAGE SIZES
PRIVACY
SELLERS





SEO:

To adjust the SEO settings for merchants, SEO is the abbreviation of the word Search Engine Optimization, which means optimizing search engines so that the appearance of your store pages become easier for customers when using a search engine, to allow the first option, this application must be installed.




IMAGE SIZES:

From here, adjust the width and height of all images for the application.




PRIVACY:

Allow customers to contact sellers: If disabled, the option to communicate with sellers will not appear to customers.

Hide customer email address: If disabled, the customer's email will appear to the seller.

Hide customer information: When enabled, customer data such as mail and phone number will not be visible to sellers.

Hide email addresses in emails: To hide customer or seller email in messages sent by your store.




SELLERS:

From here, you can control the settings of the seller's profile and the authority to modify it, such as changing the nickname which is the name that appears to customers.
