Product Option Images App
Display specific images for each product option, and change product images when the option changes automatically. This app enables advanced features for product images that are related to specific product options.
Features:
Change main product image when you hover an additional image
Include main product image in the additional images list
Display product option image below the option selection control
Change product main image and additional images based on the selected product option
Below is a video explaining how this app works and how it can be used.
To install the app, go to the apps and services from your store dashboard. Search for the Product Option Images App and install it.
Once the app is installed, you will be able to access the app settings which are divided into 10 sections as follows:
1- Change main product image on mouseover:
When enabling this option, the image displayed for the product will be changed when you hover the cursor over the additional image without clicking on it.
2- Main image to additional:
When enabling this option, the main product image will be added with the additional images, and when the main product image is selected, the corresponding option will appear.
3- Filter product image gallery:
Through this option, you can control enabling or disabling the display of images available in the list of additional product images that are on the product page only in the product gallery.
Meaning that all additional product images can be displayed in the additional product images box
4- Change main product image on option select
When this option is activated, the main image will be changed when another value option is selected.
5-Filter additional images:
When this option is activated, only the image corresponding to the selected option will be shown.
6- Images below option:
Through this box you can control the display of product options pictures in the list of additional product images on the product page, as this box includes three options as follows:
On for all: meaning that all additional product images are shown and activated with the corresponding options for the product upon selection
On for selected: meaning that only the selected product images are activated.
Off: To disable the display of options images in the list of additional product images on the product page.
7- Options in the product lists:
When this option is activated, when choosing a specific product option, its image will display the corresponding option.
8- Options images like additional images:
When this option is activated, the option image selected from the product options will appear in miniature on the pages of departments, brands and in the product offer places for the customer who chose this product.
9- Standard Option Image:
From here, you can control the setting of the default image as the main image of the product, and not be part of the additional product images options, by choosing the usual image.
In the event that you choose to replace with the first option image, the default product image will be replaced by the first additional image.
In the event that you choose Add to the list of options images, the default product image will be placed within the additional product images without specifying it first or last.
10- Standard option image:
When you activate this option, after choosing the product and its selection image and adding it to the shopping cart, the product image will appear with you in the shopping cart.
