Sync products automatically from/to Facebook & Instagram
In order to be able to use this application, you will need to have a Facebook business account and create a catalog to link your products, then integrate it with your store.
How to create a Facebook Business account:
Go to (business.google.com), then click on (Create Account)
You will be directed to the following page, Enter your store name, your name, and your email address.
Now, we will create a catalog to link our products with.
Go to (facebook.com/proudcts), then click on (Create catalog)
Select your catalog Type (E-commerce)
Then choose upload method: upload product info, and catalog owner and name, then click on create.
Now we will link the catalog we have created with our store.
How to install the app:
Go to the apps and services section from your store dashboard
Search for sell on Facebook & Instagram app.
Access the app and install it.
How to set up the app:
After you have installed the app, you will be directed to the app settings which includes (Dashboard, Import, Export, Settings) First, you will need to login into your Facebook account to be able to use the app.
After you have logged in, the following settings will be displayed.
Now we will select Business (which is your store name) And select the catalog that we have created, then click on the (sync with Facebook catalog) button. The following message will be displayed that the Sync operation has been initialized and you will be notified once it's finished.
The Sync operation is now completed.
Now we will go to the export section, select business, which is your store name, and then select a catalog to export the products to then click on the export button.
The following message will be displayed that the export operation is in progress and you will be notified once done.
Now go to https://www.facebook.com/products/catalogs This is the overview page for your Facebook account
Go to the Items section from the settings menu. These are the products that we have exported from our store.
There are many options that we can adjust to modify how the product will be displayed.
How to create a Facebook store:
Easily sell your products through a store that customers can access on Facebook and Instagram. Customers can purchase products on your site or directly on Facebook or Instagram. Connect an existing catalog or create a new one to add, promote, and sell your products. From the same page, go to Shops.
Then click next to continue
Select the method by which the customer can complete the order. Either directed to your store / or the sale takes place through Facebook and Instagram / or the customer is directed to the conversations section of your Facebook business account. We will choose the first choice:
Now you will be asked to create a page to display and promote your products.
Choose the page category.
Choose your business and account name, to become the page name, your name, and your email address, then click on Submit
The following page is showing that the page is now being reviewed by Facebook management and will be published after the completion of the review process.
How to link your Instagram with the Facebook account:
You can link Instagram with your Facebook account by clicking here.
By doing so, your Facebook account is linked to Instagram, and your products are shown to the public on both platforms.
You can control your products and how they are displayed and the ability to amend them to the desired display format whether on Facebook or Instagram.
