Odoo App: Manage & Monitor products, orders, and customers

Odoo is a suite of open source business apps that cover all your company needs: CRM, eCommerce, accounting, inventory, point of sale, project management, etc. Odoo's unique value proposition is to be at the same time very easy to use and fully integrated. Now you can sync your ExpandCart store's products, orders, and customers with Odoo easily using this app.

How to integrate your store with Odoo:

1- Install the App and open its page after searching for it through the Apps & Services page:

2- Enable its status and fill in your Odoo credentials as follows:

To find the Database Name if you don't know it, add /web/database/selector to the Odoo login URL as follows:

3- Click on the Save button and enable what you want to be synced, if the button is enabled, make sure to click on the sync button below since it's your first time to use the app:

Once you're done syncing (It may take a few minutes), click on the Save button and you won't need to sync again as long as the button is left enabled. Once the sync is done, all of the products, orders, customers (In case you synced all of them) will be available on ExpandCart and Odoo with all of its data.

How to check the synced data:

To check the synced data, refer to the sales section on the Odoo homepage:

To check the customers:

All of your ExpandCart store customers will be available on that page, and whenever you create a customer or import one or more it will reflect on the other platform automatically:

The same goes for the orders, but for the order to be deleted it has to be deleted through Odoo, if you deleted it on your store it won't reflect on Odoo:

To check the products refer to the Catalog tab, the products will be synced between the two platforms, except the deletion, in order for a product to be deleted on Odoo, its quantity has to be zero, if not, it won't reflect on Odoo if you deleted the product on the store:

Important Notes:

1- The default currency of the store has to be as same as the default currency in your Odoo account.

2- The Product won't be deleted from Odoo if you deleted it from your ExpandCart store unless its quantity is zero.

3- Orders can only be deleted from Odoo first to reflect on your store, in case you deleted it from ExpandCart it won't reflect on Odoo.

4- Guest (Visitor) orders won't be added to Odoo, you can control that from the Quick Checkout Page App.
