In this article, we will let you know how to activate the blog feature and get benefited from it.

You can create blogs and control them through the Blog section. You can reach the blog section by going to (customize store, then blog):



We will go to the settings section before we add any new posts or blogs:



The settings section includes:

Blog system status: to enable or disable the blog on your store homepage.

Show comments: you can specify the type of customers that can review these comments (enable for all, or registered customers, or guests).

Allow users to comment on posts: you can control whether the comments would be displayed, you can also specify which type of customers would be allowed to leave comments (enable for all, or registered customers, or guests)

Automatically approve comments: to automatically show the comments without your approval.

Maximum number of posts displayed on blog home page: from here you can set a maximum number of posts displayed on the blog home page

The maximum number of posts displayed on the category page: from here you can set a maximum number of posts displayed on the blog category page.



After you have set up the settings based on your preferences, we will add categories and each category will include each type of blog. To create a new category click on (Create a new category):



You will be redirected to the category page which includes:

Status: to enable or disable this category

Category Image: you can attach an image to this specific category.

Name and Description: type in the name and the description of this category in both languages.

Meta Description: you can add the meta description for this category which will appear in the search engines

Meta Keyword: enter the meta keywords which will help in improving the results for customers when searching in the search engines.



You can create a new blog, then add it to your store homepage by clicking on (Create New Post):



Post page includes:

Name and Description: type the name and description of this post in all languages activated on your store.

Status: you can enable or disable this post

Content: to write down the content of this blog

meta tag description: you can add the meta description for this category which will appear in the search engines

meta tag keywords:  enter the meta keywords which will help in improving the results for customers when searching in the search engines.

Post tags:  You can add tags specifically for this certain post.

Post image: to attach an image for this post

Category name: choose the category that this post will be associated with.



Through the comments section, you can view, enable, disable, and approve customers' comments on the blog posts in case you have disabled customers' comments through the settings section. You can also review and edit the content of the comment and the commenter’s details as well as follows:
