How to add a new category?
First, Go to the Products page from your store’s main dashboard then Collections and choose Categories.
Then click on the "Create New Category" button:
You will be directed to the Category page through which you can add the category name, description image in each language activated on the store, and an icon:
The Meta tag: The content will be shown to customers on the search engine page.
You can add a subcategory by choosing a parent category as shown in the following screenshot:
If the category you're adding is a parent category itself, you will leave the parent option as it is "None"
